PVC

PVC

For the past two months I have been having this buzzing / vibration sensation in the middle of my chest. I have worn a holter and am wearing a loop monitor. I have been told that I have PVCs (how many I don't know). I am just not sure if they are happening when I feel this buzz. I was wondering what anyone else felt when they had one. I also have sinus tachycardia. (up to 163)
I had a normal echo and normal stress test. I am 29 F.
I have been under some stress. I have been dizzy since April. I have had a ton of blood work (all normal), normal MRI of head and spine except for lower lumbar ( 2 deg. disc). The disc thing makes my legs weak. I don't know what could cause the dizziness since the cardiologist did not seem to be concerned.
Any comments on what you felt would help out a lot!

We recently discussed this in the other (moderated) heart forum.  There are several of us who get the dizziness with no apparent cause and normal cardiac workups.  Like you, I've gone through the whole testing.  I also have degenerative disc disease (4 discs, low spine) which causes some nasty sciatica among other things but certainly doesn't account for the dizziness.

The sensation you describe, I get.  It typically has absolutely nothing to do with my heart or it's rhythm though...it's often associated with anxiety and tension.

Well I am glad that someone else gets the buzzing feeling too. The dizziness has been hand in hand with me being off of my effexor / buspar (got off of it in april/march) and I don't know if that is the way my body is dealing with it now but I was sent to the cardiologist for the buzzing and they did not think the pvc was causing the buzzing.
Do you get pvcs? If so do can you feel them?
thanks

I goofed I have sinus tachycardia and when my heart rate was so high the doctor said it was Supraventricular Tachycardia

That's what I have, supraventricular tachycardia (paroxysmal or PSVT).

The buzzing sensations...you didn't mention before about the Effexor and Buspar.  Coming off of that can cause all sorts of funny side effects for months, buzzing sensations being extremely common.

Yes, I get PVCs, but only on very rare occasions...but WOW do I feel them.  It's like emptiness, adrenaline flood, THUD...usually with a pin-***** pain.  I hate those things, they're awful.  Mostly I get PACs, usually with exercise (adrenaline) and I average anywhere from 10 to 55 a day.  On a bad day I can have hundreds of them, and that is a head trip and a half.  I feel *every single one*.  The come in singles, couplets, bigeminy...the whole darn thing.
