I just got a copy of my stress test today. The EF was fine at 73 % But showed multiple PVC'S under stress. I am having an Echocardiogram and holterHolter monitor (24h) monitor on Thurs. I take ToprolToprol-xl XL to keep my heart rate down. Should I be concerned about the PVC'S ?
I had a stress test recently, got through the stressful part just fine but had tons of PVC's afterwards. The nurse/tech, whatever she was, mentioned it and had a frown on her faceFace pain. I told her it was normalNormal saline flush for me and she settled down. My final report: I passed the test and I'm fine. Then again, mine was a treadmill test and most of my PVC's came after they had me lie down. Still, I understand most PVC's are of no consequence.
