PVCs and arrythmias

by mj295, Jan 20, 2009 01:47AM
I was diagnosed with svt, bradycardia and an amazing amount of pvcs in a 24hr run. I have had four ablations. I have tried lots of different meds none helping but stopping some symptoms and making some new ones. I was frustrated by the docs at IA heart they made it seem like it was in my head and told me they couldn't do anything so I told them I was taking myself off meds because they were making me tired and dizzy from low pulse. I have gone to the er for other things only for them to hook me up to an ekg and freaking out and hospitalizing me for the pvcs and my doc saying my arrythimias aren''t life threatening why are you here.    So I went to MN had test after test. My heart rate considerably drops from going from sitting to stand.  I was also diagnosed with VTach by halter monitor. They recorded severall runs of it over a few days. I have felt pretty good for the past few years have hardly any angina but I am seeing an increase in symptoms bare in mind I am still off meds. Im xtremely tired all the time, my pulse is always under 45, and on occasion I will have this strange fluttering feeling in my chest area and feeling yucky, cold clammy, dizzy. Can arrythmias change over time?

I went back to my local electrophysiologist again and I told her what mayo said and she again said I did not have VTach  and I told her yes I did and she said that she hadnt seen papers from my mayo visit. Bare in mind I have seen this Cardiologist for over ten yrs. Frankly she seems too busy  and like Im a bother to her. Shoot when i do schedule a appointment with her (my cardio.) I get a physician assistant or someone else that i have to tell my medical history to from the time they first found the arrythimia to the date of visit! I dont want to go back but I am concerned about the fluttering and the other symptoms. I have also noticed it is worse when I have my menses and a hot shower or hot weather triggers it real fast. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?  FRUSTRATED
