PVCs and bronchial & sinus congestion

I have PVC's at a rate of 15 to 20 in 60 seconds, I noticed after a about an hour my bronchial tubes seem very congested as well as my nose gets very stuffed up.  I have difficulty concentrating on being normal because my breathing is affected so much.  My doctoor who ran an arythma chart said he could see the PVC and said it wasn't dangerous, that some people feel them and some don't and that everyone has them.  I don't know how anyone cannot worry when they come on.  Sometimes I am free from PVCs for a couple of months but then they come back.  It makes me feel like I have to hold my breath and causes me to cough quite often in a 60 second period.  I am 66 years old and have had these for many years on and off.  They seem stress related and if I eat a big meal they start in.  I am on atenolol 50 mg  to regulate my heart beat but sometimes I hve to take a valium to relax me enough to stop the PVCs .  It's a miserable feeling that makes you feel like anytime something more serious is going to happen.  Are these common symptoms?
