PVC's and enlargement of atrial chamber

I am a 50 y/o f and just had an EKG that said I had frequent PVC's and a possible enlargement of atrial chamber.  I am not sure if it said which one.  I have had some PVC's in the past off and on but never for the approximate 4 weeks that has just happened.  I am not obese, do not smoke, do not drink excessively, do not take in caffeine excessively and there is no none heart disease in my family.  In fact I am a basic nutrition educator and teach aerobics several times a week.  I am in a panic to think I may have something fatal.  I have now been put on a beta blocker and have a holter monitor test and eccho test scheduled.  I was also told not to run or do aerobics!  I am in shock!  Could you please offer some feedback or even some hope?

I'm wondering why they told you not to run or do aerobics, but not hold all exercise/exertion? I would specifically ask my doctor why and research it - if you're used to doing those things why stop?

did you go to the dr and have an ekg for an ongoing problem?
