PVC's with tachycardia

PVC's with tachycardia

Posted By Ruth on February 09, 1999 at 17:48:09:

I have been diagnosed with benign PVC's with tachycardia.  I've had an echocardiogram
stress test, and halter monitor.  Although the cardiologist said I could take medication,
he didn't feel that it would change my situation, only make it less anxiety provoking.
I decided not to take any medication.  I have given up caffeine and it has helped.  MY question
is in regard to scuba diving.  I have had only occasional PVC's in the past year since I have been
diagnosed, but since starting scuba diving classes I seem to be having more episodes and tachycardia
that lasts till the next afternoon.  Today I had a run of PVC's and tachycardia for a minute or two that
made me lightheaded. I haven't had any of these since I stopped using caffeine (about a year).  Could
this somehow be related to the diving or is it a coincidence.  Any information would be appreciated.
