Pain in Neck Artery

I am 40 yr old female. I have been having pain in the neck vein left side for about 6 months now. I also feel like the vein is full over there most of the time. About 4 months ago I started getting right hip pain and it does go into the leg sometimes when I walk a long time of sit for more then like 5 minutes. Plus a burning in the leg. They did a hip xray and was normal sent me to a nerve doctor and he said he didn't think it was the nerve. But going to do a nerve test in April. Should I talk to my main doctor about the vein or is that normal. My parents and grandparents all have had bad heart problems of all kinds since young. My grandfather just had some leg work done because of blockage in the leg and he said that it was the hip hurting. Now I am just scared.
