Pain in chest and left arm, still after stint

I had chest pains for a while, and I would have abnormal EKG's that would show something that would send a regular Urgent care people into sending me asap to a hospital!!!  But after going at least 4 times this last year to an ER all the tests would come back normal! (blood work, xrays)  It must be in my mind, etc.  Don't bother these doctors again is the way I have felt!  Sorry.   Finally this past Oct. I had a lady doctor come into the ER after being transported by Amblance from and another Urgent care from my work/ This time I had a lady doctor who wouldn't let me leave until she did angioplasty!  She refuse to give me a note to go back to work that day until she took a look where all the other doctors felt it was all in my mind!  It felt like a miracle that someone finally believe me!  I had pain in my chest and left arm!  What happen next was this doctor installed a stint in the LD area of my heart.  She stated that she found 4 other blockage, but not bad enough right now (40%).  NO one had ever check for High Cholestoral, not even my regular doctor.  It turns out I have High Cholestoral, in the 200's.  I had been given pills for high blood pressure a year earlier.  Without my high blood pressure pills I go way up!
Today I started having new type of chest pains, and I told my regular doctor and he still believes it is in my head, or muscle spam....
I had very strange pain in my chest that runs over to my underarm and burning along with stabbing pain in my chest along with heaviness feelings.  I get rings of pain around my left arm and my back of my shoulder is also hurting.
I was just in the hospital again where I had 6 hours of blood work and nothing again.
After reading a few posts I find that several people here have simular pain, and experiences as mind.  My question is there really something wrong with stints?  Why do doctors treat women different then men when they come in with simular pain as mind?  I am not crazy, I don't have anything that would make me even want to have pain!
And what treatment can I get beside stints.
I am taking:  Hyzaar 100/25,  Plavix 75mg,  Aspirin 325mg,

Hi Barb,
I was thinking about what you asked me.
NO, this Lady Heart doctor only saw me in the ER last Oct. 2008 for the first time in my life.  She must of gone with my EKG?  Never asked her...I was dressed and convince I must be nuts again since they never can find why I was having these pains?
Since the type of work I do she said she would not release me to go back to work,
until I have that Angiogram.
About the stress/Nuclar test, she did a stress test after the stint.
Now they are going to sch. a nuclar stress test today. NO I HAVE NEVER HAD one of those nuclar stress test/
I had a stress test with the very first doctor I saw over a year before.  But since my insurance refuses to pay his bill or tests, he won't let anyone look.  I just don't make enough money believe me and have been fighting the insurance company at work/  Since I had the first attact at work, my work lady wanted workman comp to pay....as far as I know they are still doing nothing at work to pay those bills.
so I had to find another doctor which is the one who wouldn't or didn't felt like doing any tests at all at the Heart Hospital.
Maybe me my fault to not keep following thru..........but not at my work I need my job. My husband hasn't had work, my daughter and her two babies and my special needs adult son all live with me and I'm only one working.

ok so thats good you have a heart dr, i would be like you if they told me i had other blockages but that they were not bad enought to do anything about i to would worry myself, and yes it can cause the chest pains the stress.  i say if your heart dr is doing test and keeping up with it than if you trust her, try and relax about it . did they give you anything for the nerves to take, see if the pain goes aways with them.  did you have any other test ran before she went in and found the blockages like stress/nuclear test where they can check the heart for blockages?  its a scarey thing , or did they just go by your ekg. i hope your feeling some better today and had a great weekend. am doing good thank you .always a little stressed about health but try and live each day as the LORD gives it to me. talk to you soon.Barb

Thank you so very much for your thoughts and ideas
I am not good always at writting my thoughts down so forgive me for not being better organized.
I have a lady heart doctor who was the one that look into my viens last Oct. 2008/ she is the doctor who found my blockage and put the stint in.  She is also the one who told me I had several other blockages but not bad enough yet.  This heart doctor was the third heart doctor I saw in the last year of my problems starting.
I feel she was very good and only one to want to take a look inside my viens.
But she also thought with my vist before this last hospital stay I might be having some of the "pain after stint" in my head.  All what she did she became like one of the bunch of doctors before who didn't know why I had pain.
This pass week while I was in the Hospital for two days they found I had a very low Potassium level and gave me this awful tasting Potassium drink for several times during the day.
I found you don't see doctors but once a day and they don't tell you anything while in the hospital.  The nurses told me they thought my body was not liking the new stint and my viens were contracting which would cause my pain?  Who knows?
While this time in the hospital I came down with a blatter infection which lead to kidney infection......then the last two days home I had soooooo much pain which I went to my reg. doctor for that.  My reg. doctor says he thinks I have a kidney stone.  Gave me pain meds and nausea meds for that.
I don't know what happens next?
Again thank you for your interests.
By the way how are you feeling?

wow sorry you have been through all of that , can you go back to the dr who took care of you and looked in your veins. if not you should be going to a cardio dr for your heart , if you had other blockages than they need to be checked to make sure they have not gotten any worse.  a reg dr is not one to go to for that, you need a heart dr.  after she did the stint did that pain go away? thats things i would be looking into . have it checked dont play with it if you know you have other blockages.
