Palpitations, Do I need a third opinion?

Palpitations, Do I need a third opinion?

Hi,
I am a very active 36 yr old female and have been experiencing chest
palpitations during the day and rapid heart beat during sleep for the last
5 weeks.  I do not smoke, drink alcohol or soda.  I do not take any meds.
I went to a dr.  He did ekg, chest xray, blood work.  Everything came out fine.
He told me to get more rest and attributed it all to anxiety.
That was during the first week of all this.  Then I still experienced
these things plus pain in my left arm.  So I decided to see a cardiologist.
He ran ekg and said everything sounded fine.  I also did stress test.
Blood pressure has been normal throughout also.  During the stress test,
I did not feel any palpitations, but had to stop after 15 minutes.  I had gone beyond max. heart
rate.  I felt terrible.  Me being a runner and have run up to 15 miles,
I did not think I should feel this way.  I had numerous palpitations,
and my heart did not settle down until 4 hours later.  I was told this was
NORMAL.  I find that hard to believe, since I have exercised all my life.
So then I wore a Holter Monitor, which I have not gotten the results
back yet.  I did not have many palpitations while I was wearing that so
I am assuming that I will be told that is normal as well.  For 5 weeks
straight, I have been experiencing these symptoms.  The rapid beats
while I am sleeping concern me.  They wake me up.  Sometimes I may only feel them
once during the night, other times it may be 3 or 4 times.
No one seems to be able to tell me what causes these things also.
I would like to know if you can give me any insight into these symptoms.
Should I seek a third opinion?  How can these things be normal?
Please help, I am very concerned.
Thank You.
