Palpitations after delivery

by Ryanne, Oct 11, 1999 12:00AM
I'm 20 and I just had twins.  Every since they came home I have had intense palpitations.  Right now my pulse is 210 bpm.  I know this is not normal.  I have never had any heart problems before.  I'm just wondering if anyone else had this problem.  What can I do about this problem?  What tests would they do to find out what is wrong with me?

210 is a bit high and probably needs to be checked out by your doctor to make sure there is not a reason (i.e infection, etc) other than post-partum hormonal and fluid shift changes for your tachycardia.
