Palpitations and Bundle Branch Block

I'm a 32 year old female who has been diagnosed with having Bundle Branch Block. My doctor has assured me that it's harmless, "for now". He said that complications could arise as I become older. He has told me to get plenty of exercise, eat right, and to take vitamins: E,C,Calcium and Magnesium. I have been following his advice. Now, three years have gone by and he has suggested another stress test. He said that they were going to be able to see what kind of blockage was really there. Is this true? And if it does tell , what can be done about it? This is just the tip of the iceberg. I also suffer with palpitations. I've been having them for 10 years. The're the kind that seem to happen during my high stress times and also about a week before my period. They are very frightening even though I've had them so long. It seems that the more I get them the more I panic and the more I panic the worse they get. Then I have to cough or rub my neck vain to lower my heart beat. My last resort is to take a Zanax and place it under my tounge. I do take a Beta Blocker called Lopressor. My doctor has just increased it to 150mg per day, which should help tone them down so he says. My real question is "could Bundle Branch Block and the palpitations(striking, hard beat in my throat and chest) that I experience be related? I'm also having hormone trouble, by trouble I mean my OB/GYN has put my on HRT. I'm totally confused!! Should I get a second opinion?
