"My recent Echocardiogram indicated "trace mitral and tricuspid regurgition..." Does this mean I have Aortic Vavle Regurgitation?"
I'm by no means an expert on the heart but I've done lots and lots of reading since I was diagnosed with my own heart issues. Your heart has four valves, the tricuspid, the pulmonary, the mitral and the aortic. You said your echo indicated trace mitral and tricuspid regurgitation, since the aortic valve is it's own thing, then no, it wouldn't mean you have aortic valve regurgitation, it would mean you have have mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. I honestly have no idea what the symptoms are for mitral and tricuspid regurgitation, but they could be the same as those for aortic valve regurgitation, I really have no idea. I would try doing a google search for mitral and tricuspid regurgition symptoms and see what you find.
As for the palpitations getting worse when lying down, I've definitely heard of this happening so it's not an uncommon thing.
