Has anybody ever had something that feels like a palpitation while laying down but had a normal heart rate?

It feels like my heart is beating about 3 times faster than normal. A constant pulsating feeling that Is usually when I lay down and sometimes all night long and wakes me up. If it does it during the day I am not aware of it, maybe because I am busy. The weird thing is that my pulse rate is normal. I have had all kind of heart test done and so far everything looks normal. I am very frustrated. Thanks!

Can you describe what you call "palpitation?"  It means one thing but people use the term freely for so many different things.
