Pig valve replacement

Is anyone aware of trouble with a pig valve replacement? with the new valve? My husband had Open heart surgery 2 yrs ago and had a pig valve put in.. he did fine until now. Just underwent surgery again because the valve was bad. Please let me know if you know of anyone else having problems with these type of valves. Thanks
