Please help me help my dad!

by mohrfun, Mar 14, 2008 09:00PM
Hello,

My father had triple by-pass surgery in December of 2006 and since then his blood pressure is extremely high and the doctors can not get it controlled.  He is on 5 different blood pressure medicines along with other pills for diabetes.  To add to the high blood pressure, he worries that it may cause a stroke.  His doctors just keep increasing his mecidines dosage but it is not going down. Is this a normal side effect from his surgery?

Thank you,
Marcy

My husband had triple by-pass in June/06, he has not had really high blood pressure, but he takes a natural supplement  Serapeptase, it really does help. I have another friend who took high blood pressure meds for 10 years, and after taking Serapeptase, she halved her dose in a few weeks.  No side effects that i know of, and can't hurt.

The other thing is of course his diet and lots of exercise.

Hope this helps.
