Positive Blood Culture help

I have a history of Mitral Valve Repair in 2000 for mitral valve prolapse with no recurrence of regurgitation. I have mod-svere aortic insufficiency. Otherwise quite healthy. I had a bad case of cellulitis diagnosed in my ankle and took Keflex for 10 days with good resolution. We never found a source for the infection. As a precaution, my cardiologist ordered blood cultures (2 sties)prior to starting Keflex.The cultures came back positive and required Mayo Clinic to identify them as "Abiotrophia/Granulicatella" on both samples. We did a Thoracic Echo which showed no vegetations.I feel fine and have no endocarditis signs. My cardio states she had never heard of this bacterium/cooci and was not concerned. She suggested repeat cultures in 2 weeks. Should cultures be done sooner? I've seen some reports of Infective endocarditis with this strain.
