by BUD737, Apr 12, 2009 10:46AM
I had a cardiac pacemaker implanted for atrial fib appromately 1 yr ago. Since then I have had multiple joint pain. IS possible this might be due to "foreign body reaction??? or fibromyalagia???

I had a pacemaker placed to control a complete heart block in Feb'09.  Generalized musce pain, cramps and aches developed in Jul'09.  I have no idea who to see regarding this new development of pain.  Should I see my Internal Medicine doctor or a GP nearer to home?  Should I see a neurologist?
I also tried acetaminaphen and benadryl.  Neither of the medication helped.  I am at a loss as to where I go from here?  If you know something, please respond
