Post ablation for tachycardia

Post ablation for tachycardia

I have just had a cardiac ablation for right ventricular tachycardia.  I am not sure about the recovery time and what to expect after the ablation.  I am still experiencing some flutters and pumps and palpatations in my chest, but definitely not to the extreme that I had before.  I was wondering if anyone out there has had this procedure and can tell me what may or may not be normal to feel post ablation.  I just had this done 4 days ago.  I was on the table for 4 1/2 hours.  Does anyone  have any input?

Recovery time following an ablation procedure is generally brief.  If the ablation was successful you should experience no further RVOT.  However, you may still experience all the various PVC's and PAC's that everyone has.  You doctors can check a Holter monitor if you are still experiencing frequent palpitations.
