Post ablation side effects from intubation...

Hi
I had an ablation for afib that was done about 2 months ago and everything is going well so far except for one thing:
I am having unpleasant sensations in my chest like mild "heart burn," which I've never had before.
I keep burping and feel like there is a bubble in my esophagus. Do you think this is a complication from being
intubated?
Thanks
Kas

Complications from afib ablations are fairly rare but can happen.  If this pain is new, I would discuss with your cardiologist or the specialist that did the procedure about getting a contrast CT of the chest done to look for any complications.
