I (45) was diagnosed with an LBB two years ago due to an irregularity in an EKG. It was determined to be a LBB. They sent me for a heart cath (family history) at that time, which came out normal with no blockages. Another LBB showed on an EKG recently during my annual physical (stress echo scheduled). A separate factor that has shown is that my potassium level has increased from 4.1 in 2005 to 5.4 in 2009; each year it has gradually climbed. Could this be associated with the LBB and the “electrical issue?”
