I am 18 years old and when I was 8months old I had heart surgery and 2 more times. I now have a mitralMitral regurgitation - chronic Mitral stenosis Mitral valve prolapse valve and take WarfarinWarfarin Warfarin sodium and some other medications to controlControl Control rx my heart palpatations and my depression. I am thinking of having a baby but, I am very afraid of still birth, or dying at child birth. I need to know if it is a possibility for me to still have a child. Please any advice will do. Thank you so much.

You will find great information about pregnancy and mechanical/tissue valves at www.valvereplacement.com. There are a few people over there who have gone through pregnancies after valve surgery.
