Pulse between Collarbones

Pulse between Collarbones

Hello.  I am worried about a pulse I can see and feel between my collarbones.  I can see it when I look into the mirror and I can always feel it there. I believe they call it the suprasternal pulse.  I read before that a lot of people can see theirs and it is nothing to worry about, could just be an artery close to the skin, or the cartoid artery is close to the skin at that location.  Well a few weeks ago I did read online that if you can see or feel a pulse there it can mean an aortic problem.  I feel great but this makes me worry! I am a 22 year old female. Any advice would be great!

The best advice I can think of is to discuss this with your doctor. Have them evaluate this for you instead of causing any unneeded and unnecessary stress and worry.  Take care, Ally

My doctor said that it was nothing to worry about a few years ago but I dont know if he gave it much thought.

Yeah, doesn't sound like it. I would bring it to his attention again.
