Question about thallium test report?

Question about thallium test report?

I just  read a copy of a report from my cardio office. I was looking  in my records from my primary care office.. have my records since i'm switching docs. Anway, It was my thallium stress test that was done this past summer, The bottom of the report reads normal excercise scan with no evidence of MI of inshemia. Normal left ventricle systolic function... but I'm confused about this comment below:

Post stress images Demonstrate a small partial defect in the anteroseptal wall of the left ventricle with normal perfusion elsewhere. The resting images show no change in this pattern. Raw images suggest soft tissue attenuation likely explains this minor defect. WTF? Is this something to worry about??

This simply means that the image of the heart was not clear or partially blocked due to soft tissue attenuation. This is a result of taking the x ray through excessive breast tissue or fat. This is nothing to worry about.

Hope it helps,

Jon

Ok. So it mean's I don't have a defect in my ventricle ? It must have been my breast tissue then.. becuase I'm a very slender woman. LOL. thanks.
