Questions about stress test

Female;43;cholesterol 225;BP low-side of normal-I don't smoke, drink or do illegal drugs. I have a pretty healthy diet and am of normal weight;no family history of early onset heart disease. Recently I had an echo and nuclear stress test for atypical chest pain.I do not experience dizziness, SOB or nausea. Echo-good. Cardiolite stress test showed an ischemia present when my hr got up to 160bpm which disappeared at 190bpm. I experienced no chest pain, breathlessness or dizziness at this time. Cardiologist said the stress test was good and nothing to worry about. 1)What would cause this during the nuclear stress test?

That night at home, I had quite a few premature heart beats and pretty severe chest pain on and off for a couple of hours but it all started a good 1-2hours after the test. The pain was pretty localized in one spot though-slightly right of center chest between breasts and low. It was not diffuse and did not feel like pressure or squeezing. The pain was very strong and would last one to three minutes. The pain would then go away, only to return in 20-30 minutes to repeat cycle. I was just getting ready to go to the ER to find out what was going on when it went away for good that evening. 2)Is this a bad sign in correlation to the stress test? 3)Does it sound cardiac in nature or not? 4)Does it seem related to the stress test or not?

Unfortunately Im a bit confused by your interpretation of your findings. Usually images are taken at rest and stress so Im not sure what you mean at HR of 160 and 190 since only one should have been at rest.

2)Is this a bad sign in correlation to the stress test?

It depends on if the stress was negative or not. However, any new  chest pain syndrom (syndrome) should be discussed with your physician. With your overall risk profile, you are generally at low risk for a myocardial event.

3)Does it sound cardiac in nature or not?

On the surface not given your risk profile. If your stress was positive though I would be more concerned.

4)Does it seem related to the stress test or not?

Sometimes people can have spasm after or during a stress test. I would discuss your findings with your physician.

He was looking at the EKG tracing when he commented on this. I was hooked up to an EKG machine and blood pressure cuff. At intervals, they took and recorded readings. I am pretty sure that it was this read out that he was referring to because the images were all good. The images showed no problems.

I got a false positive result.  Two small area but my cardio said due to Pacemaker.  I think he means "Ablation".  He is old and I think he got a lot of confusing too.  Do you have an ablation before?
