I know my bp and heart rate is still considered normal, but it's a just a little strange for it to suddenly increase like this so i'm wondering if it could be caused by an increase in lvh? weightlifting?
I have a cardiologist appointment coming up soon so i'll be asking them these questions as well, just wanted to get some input before that.
I should note that I'm not doing very heavy weight lifting at the moment since I'm just getting back into it.
Lack of sleep can significantly affect your body in many ways and higher blood pressure is certainly one of them. Have you been under considerable stress lately?
It's important to really think about this, because many people believe they are not as they don't recognise the symptoms.
well I do have a history of being overly stressed very easily.
I'm hoping it's cause by the lack of sleep. It was actually about 2 months straight where i would maybe get 4 hours of sleep, and i'd always wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to sleep again. Almost like my mind wouldn't turn off. I had my thyroid tested and other blood work to rule out things that can be causing it. So I guess it could only be stress, but i'm having the hardest time getting back into normal sleeping routine. Even now most night I get maybe 6 hours.
but now its 104/75 so my diastolic is the bigger concern as to why it wont drop back to normal
could 1 or 2 months of 4 hours of sleep a night have done this?
