Qusetions about enlarged heart and sudden death!

Ive been hearing about many athletes dying lately from enlarged hearts.I have been experiencing windedness latley and had it severe in australia.They did some ekgs and some said possible left venticular hypertophy ive had this a few times and sometimes i doesnt show up..my most recent echocardiogram test  results in september 2009 had the following results:
Lv diastolic dimension 4.9cm
Lv sytolic dimension 3.1 cm
septal diastolic thickness 0.8cm
posterior wall diastolic thickness 0.8cm
aortic root diameter 2.6cm
left atrial diameter 2.7cm
left venticular ejection fraction 68%
peak rv/pa systolic pressure 18mmhg*

Can someone expain whether these results could change in 4 months and get worse leaving me at risk for enlarged hear and sudden death or would it take much longer for signifucant damage to be done due to recent high blood pressure readings and thes ekg findings thanks
