RE: Fast Heart Rate

I also experience tachycardia in a hot shower.  I am a triathlete with a resting heart rate in the upper 40s.  I have noticed in the past that I feel faint in a very hot shower so today I wore a heart rate monitor in the shower.  Before getting into the shower my HR was in the upper 50s.  First, I sat in the hot shower and my HR went into the upper 70s.  After standing up, and washing, my HR went up to 130!  After getting out of the shower, my HR went below 100 in less than 30 seconds.  20 minutes after getting out of the shower, my HR was still slightly elevated in the 70s.

Have you found out any more information on this topic?
