RHUMATIC FEVER - ADULT

I had RF when I was a child,about 4 and then again at 7. it only seemed to effect my ankles, due to the care i was given by my Mother. but now at 59 i've been having alot of pain in my ankles. also alot of swelling. i don't rember what it looked like but i remember the pain. this felt alot like it. is there any chance i could be experiencing it again?
