Because Amiodarone can affect liver function can it influence LDL and Hdl levels?  My LDLs have increased significantly since being placed on amiodarone despite virtually removing pizza, burgers etc from my diet. I sure am getting tired of salads.

Dear Mike,
Amiodarone shouldn't raise your LDL.  Diet alone does not control everyone's cholesterol and you may require medical therapy in addition.  Discuss your concerns with your doctor.  Until then happy munching.
