sure they had one small enough. The Dr. said that he would be better if it totaly

what they think is causing the angina now as they did before the stent. The angina has
gotten so bad that in the last 6 days he has had to take over 50 nitros. He is also on all
typical heart meds. Yesterday he went to see his Dr ,and although through it
all, they say other than this tiny vessel his heart is in great shape no damage or is in any
danger of anything life threating ,it has the Dr's baffled as to why he is having so much
angina, These episoides seem to come on after mild excertion ,after
he eats and is sleeping. Now they are going to do a upper GI series to see if it is related
to something other than the heart, and not angina at all. I could go on about what did
not happen in April. My question is what could mimic these symptoms other than what he has been treated for? Thank you so much for being there.
Dear Lynda
Sometimes even a small vessel blockage can cause a lot of pain. Similarly, spasm of the coronary arteries can cause anginal chest pain, especially if it is superimposed on an area of blockage. Gastroesophageal reflux of acid or esophageal spasm can mimic angina. An upper GI series should help sort this out.
I hope this has been useful. I wish you the best of luck. Feel free to write back.
