My mom is 63 years old and as Atrial Fibrilliation. She has been on Coumidian for a few years. She can no longer take the drugs. She has had multiple TIA's and now her Dr tells her she must choose between a pace maker and a defibulator.
Her docter is Dr. Ehrlich in So. Cal. She is also looking at the Mayo Clinic and Loma Linda Medical Center as well as the Heart Insitiute in Houston. If there is any info about new drugs which do not cause the side effects of Coumidian or which is better, a defibulator or pace maker please help. She is a grandmother of 4 grandchildren. We need to save her.
