Hi and thanks in advance for your patiance and understanding with us. I have
cardiomyopahty and in May my ef was 50 to 55. My resting heart rate seems to be
about 45. It does go up with exercise and doesn't really seem to bother me to much.
A lil lightheaded once or twice is all. Should I be concerned???
Thaks, Ginger
Ps....All I take is Zestril and premerin so it is not medication induced!!
Oh and CoQq0...vit e and c and Taurine and l-carnitine.

Dear Ginger,
That is an excellent ef for someone with "cardiomyopathy".
The bradycardia is only a problem if it bothers you, which is usually the case
when it will not go up with exercise (especially since exercise is very important for
all patients' hearts).  If you do develop increasing episodes of dizziness and or any
new symptoms, that would be cause for a concern and a good time to call your cardiologist or
primary physician to let them know and to have it checked out.
Good Luck.
