Hello,
I just got back from a visit to my doctor and my blood pressure was 130/99
and when I went home I took it again and it was 120/82 (home testing machine)
What can I do to reduce this? Is my machine off by that much? Should I trust that
reading from the machine?@I excercise 5 times a week for 35minutes.
Clint

Dear Clint
If your machine is calibrated correctly, it should provide accurate readings. Probably your blood pressure was a little elevated just from being in the doctor's office. In addition, blood pressure varies form hour to hour. Keep a log book of your blood pressure and see if it is consistently normal at home, and then see what it is when you go into the doctor again.
I hope this has been useful. I wish you the best of luck. Feel free to write back.
