Dear Sheila
You should call your doctor and make an appointment to be evaluated by your doctor. The symptoms you describe could be related to your heart. A more thorough medical history and physical will help determine whether you need a cardiac stress test. As a first step, your internist could examine you and then refer you to a cardiologist if necessary. You should also try to stop smoking.
I hope this has been useful. Feel free to write back with further questions. Good luck.
