Hi
I was hospitalized last week for low blood O2 and fever. The doctor said it is probably Asthma. While in hospital They did an echo cardiagram, the results I got yesterday in the doctors offoice. He said everything is normal except that my heart is borderline enlarged. He did not seem overly concerned or refer me to a cardiolgist. My blood pressure is normal and I am 32 years. I have been excercising regularly.
Should I be concerned and do more tests. Can my heart get even more bigger with time and is there any treatmet/checkup to prevent sudden heart attacks from enlarged heart
Thanks

i am a 25 year old female and 4 years ago i was going in for an hernia repair surgery.  when they did the presurgery xrays they found out that i had an enlarged heart.a heart cath was done the following week and they found out that i had an aneurysm of the sinus valsalva.they went in 7 days later and did open heart surgery repairing the hole in my heart.  you really need to have this further checked out,had they not found mine in time i would not be here today.
