I am a 40 year ond female 135 Ibs, 5'10 '' exercise regularly with no other health problems.
Approx. 3 months ago I started to experience a flushing of my face during periods of stress at work.  At the time I spoke to my doctor over the phone and he told me that he too suffered from the same flushing and told me not to worry!!.  This flushing has continued and even increased but only appears to be stress related since it only occurs at work.  Is this anything I need to woory about?.
Thanks

Dear Beverley
I think that the safest way to proceed would be to get evaluated by your doctor in person, not over the phone. While it may be stress, it is important to make sure that your blood pressure is not also high. The fact that the flushing only started 3 months ago (and has not always been present) concerns me.
I hope this has been useful. I wish you the best of luck. Feel free to write back.

I am 32 and have had a problem with my face flushing during times of stress too.  It becomes very hot to the touch and progresses across my neck and chest as well.  It gets so bad sometimes that the skin on my face dries out! My doctor originally thought it may be related to my fibromyalgia but now says that it is just a blush reaction.  Could there be something else wrong?
