The measurements of wall thickness made in diastole are the relevant ones. During systole, the wall thickness would be expected to increase slightly (if the heart has not been damaged by a heart attack). Therefore, in terms of assessing left

Ultrasound, ventricular septal defect - heartbeat
Ventricular assist device
Ventricular fibrillation
Ventricular septal defect
Ventricular tachycardia hypertrophyEnlarged prostate
Lymphoid hyperplasia, it is the
diastolicBlood pressure measurements that you have listed that are used.
