Hi,                                                       On my holter monitor report says the following: Hours analyzed 23:56; Avg 75 BPM; Max 158 BPM; Min 54 BPM. Bradycardia runs  174; Pauses 0.Ventricular Events: Total Beats 13; Forms 3; Couplets 0; Triplets 0; Bigeminy runs 0; V tach runs 0; mean ve/hour 0.5. Supraventricular Events: total beats 18; couplets 3; svtach runs 0; mean sve/hour 0.8. ST Events: ST depression ch1 0; ch2 0; ch3 0. ST Elevation ch1 0; ch2 0; ch3 0.Impressions. THe underlying rhythm is normal sinus rhythm. The minimal heart rate is 54 beats/minute and maximal heart rate is 158 beats/minutes (during periods of exercise). There are very rare premature ventricular beats as well as very rare supraventricular premature beats. There are no significant runs of atthythmia. A month before holter monitor I had blood and urinalysis  tests at the hopital. All were normal except  for PH in urine which was >=9.0 limits being 4.8-7.8 and potasium 4.8.                     1. What do Forms = 3 under ventricular events mean and are they dangerous?                                        2.How serious are 3 couplets  under supraventricular evets?                                                     3.Did high PH in  urine have any effect on ventricular(t.beats 13 + forms 3) and supraventricular(t.beats 18 + couplets 3)events?           4. How can PH be decreased to within normal limits?Thank you.Ben

Dear Ben, thank you for your question.  I think your Holter report is fine and you have nothing to worry about.  I don't know what Forms = 3 is referring to.  The 3 couplets are normal findings.  High urine PH is also nothing to worry about, should not affect premature beats, and does not need treatment.
