I am wondering if I should be concerned about my blood pressure.  It has been about 90/53 for quite some time.  I am at least 100lbs overweight and do not get much exercise, so would expect it to be higher.  (I am working on the weight and exercise issue!) I also have problems with my legs feeling like they have "fallen asleep" which I assume is due to my weight, but could be from the blood pressure problem.  Pleas advise.

Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for your question.  Yours is a good "problem" to have.  Blood pressure is determined by a number of factors with genetics playing a major role.   I wouldnt worry about the blood pressure and focus on weight loss and increasing activity.  Hope this helps.  Feel free to write back with any additional questions.
