I had an aortic homograft with bypass times two on 4-16-98 at the
Cleveland Clinic. This is just a note to all those worried people
out there who are going in for surgery in the future.
I think the staff of proffessionals at the Cleveland Clinic are the
finest bunch of care givers I have seen anywhere. Also the hospital
itself seems to be set up to get you to and from and in and out of all
that testing as quick and painless as possible.
If you have to be sick this is the place to do it.
I would like to thank my doctor Dr.Mayer-sabik, my surgeon Dr. Sabik,
doctors Lever and Patterson on the cardiac floor. Also all the nurses techs
and aids who helped me through-- especially Patty in the cardiac ICU.
I am now recovering at home and doing quite well.
