I recently wrote in about my PVC's and was given some great info.  I did however ask about one specific incident that happened that was unlike any of my traditional PVC incidents.  That was when it felt like my heart was in a spasm for 3-5 seconds and no apparent normal heartbeat.  I did get checked out again at the cardiologist (no problem found).  You never commented on what you thought it may be and I've read somewhere about idiopathic tachycardia that seemed to describe what I was feeling.  I would like your professional diagnosis as well as the definition of idiopathic tachycardia.
Thanks,
Geno
ps. I'm 31, no drink, no smoke, no drugs.  Docs think I'm healthy. BP is
gets slightly high on the rough days (130's over 90's).

Idiopathic means that it comes on for no reason at all.  Then when it happens, you panic and it seems a lot worse than it actually is.  Been there and done that in the pst when my husband first came down with heart problems.  Hope this helps you until you get an answer from the doctor.
