I was given adenosene in the
emergencyEmergency airway puncture
Emergency contraception room due to an attact of AVNRT. Is there any side effect from adenosene? I have had PVCs since then, which my cardiologist confirmed are not due to the AVNRT. Could it have been caused by the adenosene?
Can unbalanced hormone levels cause PVCs?
Q: Could it have been caused by the adenosene?
A: No. Adenosine is a very short acting drug and lasts only about 15 seconds. After about a minute it is completely gone from the body
Q: Can unbalanced hormone levels cause PVCs?
A: Possibly. Many women notice an increase in PVC's with their monthly cycle but there is no hard evidence of this.
