While it is always dificult to say, it is likely that over time, your leakage (regurgitation) will progress. I cannot say at what rate. You will need to have this followed over time through serial echocardiograms. I do recommend you following your doctor's advice regarding medication. These medications do help to keep you symptom free as long as possible.
