I am 55 year old female, have high blood pressure, am taking Renatec
20 mg per day.  Family history of heart problems.  Have had presure
on my chest for the last 3 days.  Sometime it is very strong and I
have trouble breathing.  It feels like a heavy weight on my chest
and then goes away but I always feel some kind of weight on my
chest, also feels sometimes like a vice going around my chest and
under my arms.

Dear Helene,
This is an information forum, NOT ONE FOR DIAGNOSIS OR CONSULTATION.  Your symptoms are concerning and if you had read the opening statement in the introduction to this forum you would not have bothered even submitting a question, rather you would have gone to an emergency room and or called your physician for an urgent visit.  Please call your physician as soon as possible and if not go to the local ER.
I hope this information is useful. Information provided in the heart forum is for general purposes only. Only your physician can provide specific diagnoses and therapies. Feel free to write back with further questions.  Good Luck.
