Hi
You sound exactly like myself. I too have a high heart resting rate of about 85 bpm. I too feel the same about breathing and also the fear of going to the doctor office which causes my heart rate to sky rocket too. Seems sometimes the Dr's concentrate more on my pulse than they do for the real reason I am there to see them. I am told it is all related to anxiety. I have had many tests etc.... to rule out anything really serious. It is always good to see the Dr to rule out anything physically wrong with you though. I know in my case it helps me tremendously with my symptoms just knowing that I am OK and that there isn't anything wrong with my heart or lungs.I'm sure it is the same for you. I am anxious to see the MD's comments on our situation. Hang in there.
