I regret the delay in responding to your original question.  The symptoms you describe(tachycardia, palpitations, weakness, nausea) are quite non-specific, and suggest a vast array of potential conditions, diagnoses, and therapeutic options.
Regarding the postural orthostatic tachycardia this suggests a disorder of the autonomic nervous system, or ANS.  The ANS regulates many bodily functions, including blood pressure, heart rate, and blood flow to various tissues including the skin.  It is quite possible that the mottling you describe is a result of heightened sympathetic nervous system activation, resulting in decreased blood flow to the skin, especially when sitting or upright.  This may manifest in cool, clammy skin, possibly with a "mottled" appearance.   I suggest that you discuss these symptoms with the physician that diagnosed the postural orthostatic tachycardia.
Information provided in the Medhelp Forum is for general purposes only.  Specific diagnoses and therapeutic recommendations can only be provided by your personal physician.
