3 years ago I was diagnosed with PVC's.  I have noticed that over time
the PVC's have become more pronounced (ie. I have fairly strong arrythmias).  I am 33 years old.  I noticed that when I am stressed that
they get worse. I do not drink, smoke, take caffiene.  I am on Paxil 10mg.
for Panic Disorder.
My question is this: 1)Is it unreasonable for me to get a Stress Test &
Echo, or a Holter Moniter again to reassure me that this has not progressed
into anything more serious? I have not had tests in 3 years, other than
EKG.
It seems like any time my adrenaline goes up the slightest bit, even if it
is from excitement, I get arrythmias.  Other than that, I just get anywhere
from 20 to 200 noticeable PVC's in a given day. And yes, they are annoying/uncomfortable.  I really do not want to be on a Beta-Blocker.
One more question, will exercise help decrease frequency of PVC's?
Thanks Again.

I also have the exact same symptoms, but the PVC's happen also when i'm relaxed.  It feels like my heart skips a beat.  I have been having then almost constantly over the past 3 days, but have been having the on an irregular basis for 5 years, and am going to have blood tests done today.  I would be interested in any information.  I'm female 33 yrs of age and also have Panic Disorder.

Christine -
We sound like we have very similar situations, I am a 32 year old female and I have had PVC's for five years now and still want more information.  I also have panic disorder, and I take Paxil 30mg. and Atenolol 25mg. a day which does help but nothing has ever stopped them.  What is frustrating is that I might feel great for weeks and then all of the sudden, BOOM panic symptoms out of the blue or pvc's that cause me to panic.  It is a vicious cycle and very frustrating and uncomfortable.  Good Luck to you!
