Thank you for your response, I did see a cardiol.I am now sched. for a stress echo. Ihave already had a stress tst and passed, and a regular echo also norml. What can be observed on a stressecho that the other 2 don't necessarily show? Are there any other tests that should be done? Can CAD be seen on a stress echo?? Thanks so much. Stress echo looks for a decrease in the wall motion of the heart with exercise that indicates areas of ischemia (lack of blood flow) to the heart.  A regular echo does not detect ischemia.
