Recent Heart attack

Hello, I'm a 38 year old female and I just had a heart attack 5 days ago. The doctors said it was pretty massive and I had a stent placed in my heart.I was a current smoker but I've since started on the patch. I'm taking all my medications as prescribed but I'm really scared that I won't completely recover from this. Any suggestions to make some goals to set or any good support groups I can join?

Well take all the expert advice you get and implement it. Hopefully your stent will help , please god. When it settles down, you will get the exercise/ brisk walk talk from your doctor. Its important to keep up the walking 5 or 6 times a week, 30 mins approx (As advised by your doc of course)
There are lots of people here on Med Help keen to offer help and advice, most often speaking from personal experience.
