I am 57 yrs. old and undergone a triple artry by pass surgery 36 days back. The wound in the chest region has healed and the scars are fading. But I have a feeking of heavyness in the left side of the chest and a very typical sensation when the shirt touchs the chest. Their is mild pain at times. I do about a KM of walk with not much discomfort. I am also diebetic (diabetic).
Please suggest remidies or guide.

The sensations on the skin are very common indeed. The nerves were severed when surgery took place and have to adapt again. It was as though the signals to my brain were being misinterpreted, cold would cause pain, hot would cause an itch and many other weird short circuits. The brain has to get adapted to the sensations and what they are, and this takes time. Mine took about 6-12 months to be right again. I am left with a small numb area at the top of the scar, to one side. This apparently is also very common and it doesn't bother me. Better to be numb than be painful :)
You are recovering very quick, which is good to know.
